Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
TBS is an intensive one-to-one, short-term outpatient treatment intervention for children and youth with serious emotional problems or mental illness who are experiencing a stressful transition or life crisis and need additional short-term specific support services.

The CCICMS Clinic coordinates services for seriously emotionally disturbed children who are in residential placement or who require intensive outpatient care. Services for children ages 5-17 include:
- hospital discharge planning
- residential placement
- wilderness programs
- specialized case management
- AB 2726 assessment and referral
- occupational and recreational therapy
- individual, group and family therapy
- medication evaluation and monitoring
- crisis intervention
- Intensive Family Preservation (The Intensive Family Preservation program provides group an family therapy both in-home and in-clinic to qualified clients and their families).
Case management services for minors in state hospitals are also provided. Access to services is facilitated by the interagency placement council and/or by community clinics.
Children's residential services include crisis/sub acute beds, several psychiatric group home including an emancipation home an several long-term residential beds. Placements are reviewed and approved by the Interagency Placement Council. In addition, beds are available at designated foster care homes that receive training services and consultation from Department of Behavioral Health staff.
Juvenile Justice Outpatient Program (JJOP)

JJOP provides treatment and consultation services for youth incarcerated in Juvenile Hall, The Kuiper Youth Center, and at-risk youth from the community attending the Youth Justice Center. Family members are included in treatment at the Kuiper Youth Center and the Youth Justice Center. Access to services is facilitated through referral by Juvenile Probation staff.
